Sustainable Self

There’s a lot of noise in sustainability. There’s chaotic energy everywhere, in the form of panic, uncertainty, hope, skepticism, and more. A lot of this energy is not used to create order, which means even on the topic of sustainability, we don’t have a sustainable way to gain momentum in a good direction.

But something our data and our advanced analytics methods tell us is that we can do this, and we can scale the general solution up quickly enough to make an impact. In order to do that, we must focus first on the self. That means the daily lives of each of us, internally and externally. We as people need to grow in a sustainable way, with healthy and productive tactics. So what does that look like, and why does it have to come first?

Sustainable Self Topics
– How to build and maintain relationships that you want
– How to use happiness to guide you in decision making (with science)
– How to live a life without pain or chronic issues
– How to have enough energy to do everything you want to do (even if you’re ADD)
– How to live a zero waste lifestyle without sacrificing your wants and needs

Why should we focus these topics, rather than clean energy or other commonly touted solutions for sustainability? Because this solution is the fastest way to move humanity into sustainability. Those other solutions are important, but they are slow, most people can’t contribute to them, and they’re not viable on their own. Have you ever felt disconnected when reading about climate change, or ocean pollution, or any of these topics? Disconnect is proof that there’s a lack of viability in focusing on those other topics. Instead, we need a coalition of individuals across the globe who are empowered and sustainable themselves, to spread sustainability. There are scientists who focus on science solutions, but even if we had all the answers today there are many issues to rolling out those solutions. Therefore, the most important thing we can do is build ourselves up to be the type of person that the future of our world needs. And this is how it’s done.
